The Washington School Personnel Association (WSPA) is a community of human resources professionals dedicated to serving the school community. We provide support, advocacy, and continual learning for Human Resource professionals. WSPA has multiple different levels of membership designed to fit your needs. Descriptions of each membership type can be found below.
We have partnered with WASA to manage our finances and because of this our Membership renewal for 2023-24 and beyond will be handled by Kaley VonVolkli (kvonvolkli@wasa-oly.org) at WASA.
WSPA membership runs from September 1st through August 31st each year.
Membership rates are a flat fee and are not prorated at any point throughout the year.

Individual / Annual Cost: $175
Any employee in a school district department that performs human resource functions including, but not limited to, employee relations, data processing, employee benefits, salary administrations, staff selection or substitute operations.
Membership Includes:
District / Annual Cost: $1,500
10 or more employees in a school district department that performs human resource functions including, but not limited to, employee relations, data processing, employee benefits, salary administrations, staff selection or substitute operations.
Retiree / Annual Cost: $100
Members who have been active in WSPA and are now retired. If you have been a WSPA member for at least five years your dues will be waived for the first year following retirement.
Membership Includes:
Associate/Legal/Vendor / Annual Cost: $100
Anyone not meeting the description for Individual or Retiree Memberships including, but not limited to, Colleges/Universities, Building Administrators, Intern, Consultant, Attorney, and Vendor
